Panoptica: Watching Eyes is from my ongoing series confronting omnipresent surveillance. I embed hidden eyes within beauty — layered through color and polymer, camouflaged by shimmer and depth. You may not see them, but you feel them.
Exhibition history: Selected for Answer As Question, the 17th Annual Juried Exhibition at Columbia City Gallery in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum, July 23 – August 31, 2025. Juried by José Carlos Diaz, SAM’s Susan Brotman Deputy Director for Art — one of only 31 works chosen from over 500 submissions by artists across the United States.
